So it's been ages since I last posted *anything.* That is due to a) me having a new computer and not having a compatible scanner (and not being able to afford one at the moment) and b) life's been rather crazy of late and I haven't really done much artsy stuff. I'm so fricking excited right now!! :) for those of you who don't know, I graduated from college with a degree in English. My goal is to be an author. I want to maybe work for a magazine and write some books. After I hit the best-seller list a few times and make several book tours I'd like to be an editor. What better job for a book nerd like me than to sit around reading all day?! :) I've had a storyline idea in my head for awhile now but I just haven't been able to do quite what I wanted to with it. I know, I know!!! I haven't done anything here in forever!! But, as the title says, its not my fault. My laptop is sick. :( To make a long story short....the motherboard is fried and my keyboard doesn't work. I'm stuck using a crappy old desktop that runs Windows 98. (GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!) So.....I'm going to get a new one but I need money for it first and at the moment I don't have a lot of that. My big tax return should be back soon so I'll be able to get one then.
